Clinical Psychologist Fees
$260 – initial consultation
$250 – subsequent consultations
Registered Psychologist Fees
$230 – initial consultation

Concession Fees
Our Registered Psychologist Demi Rojo offers a concession rate of $170 for full-time tertiary students. Confirmation of enrolment must be provided.
Please contact us to enquire about fees for EMDR and for appointments with Kendall Allsop (Principal Psychologist).
Fees are due on the day of your appointment and are to be paid via credit/debit card. When booking your initial appointment your credit/debit card details will be stored in Stripe (an encrypted system). Your card will only be charged when you attend an appointment or if a cancellation fee applies in line with the cancellation policy.

Please note, we do not bulk bill. Gap fees apply with a Mental Health Treatment Plan.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel/reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours notice:

If 24-48 hours notice is provided for a cancellation/rescheduling, 50% of the session fee will be charged.

If 0-24 hours notice is provided for a cancellation/rescheduling (or in the case of non-attendance), 100% of the session fee will be charged.
To change your appointment:
Changes to appointments more than 48 hours in advance can be made via the Client Portal.
For less than 48 hours notice this cannot be actioned via the Client Portal. Instead, please email reception@curiousmindsstudio.com.au.
Please note: Rebates are not available for cancellation fees. Cancellation fees must be paid prior to booking in your next appointment.
Rebates
Medicare Rebates
If you have a valid Referral Letter from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate for up to 10 appointments per calendar year. Please see your GP to discuss your eligibility for a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP), and to obtain a Referral Letter to a Psychologist.
The Referral Letter must be dated prior to/the day of your appointment and contain:

The date of referral

The client’s name, date of birth and address

Diagnosis or symptoms

A request for services under Better Access and/or a statement about if a patient has a MHTP

The referring practitioner’s name, Medicare Provider Number and signature
Currently, the Medicare Rebates are as follows:
Clinical Psychologist - $141.85
Registered Psychologist - $96.65
Private Health Rebates
Please check directly with your insurer about your cover for psychology services and any conditions. An invoice can be provided to you for you to make a claim direct to your Insurer after your appointment. Please note, you are unable to claim both a Medicare rebate and a Private Health rebate on the same appointment.
